And if you were a kid growing up in the 90's you were most likely
an Aaliyah fan. It's no surprise that Lifetime would have interest in production
for a biopic about Aaliyah. Alexandra Shipp, who has starred in Alvin & The Chipmunks
The Squeakquel, and Victorious will play the late Aaliyah. Hmm at first glance I'm not sold
but you can't judge a book by her cover. Get this tea, everyone in her life including her celebrity friends have been casted an actor for their role except, R-Kelly. Which I'm sure has everything to with her family; which has tried to put a halt on the production of this biopic a number of times. Aaliyah's family is not involved with the film. Aaliyah Princess of R&B will premiere on Lifetime on Saturday, November 15th.
